Handmade Knives by Theo Verster.  iNyathi Knives is the name I trade under. I was fascinated with knives from a young age. I did a knife making course with Owen Wood in the early 90's.  I never started, work got in the way. The urge to make my own knife never went away; in January 2009 I did another course with Gawie and Thinus Herbst award-winning members of the Knife-makers Guild of Southern Africa.

Born and raised in South Africa, outdoorsman, Professional Hunter and competitive shooter it is just natural that I will have a love for practical useable knives.

I use 12C27 steel extensively and use as much material that reflect Southern Africa's rich environment.

Maker's Mark is Surname next to Buffalo Head.

Not only do I make outstanding knives I also make sheaths. My lovely wife Marlene also makes pouches.

iNyathi is the Swahili word for Buffalo, I have a deep affection for this fierce animal of Africa. Feared by most, loved by hundreds.
